We have sold thousands of these Bednet pickup truck cargo nets. Bottom of the book is…if you have a truck bed with nothing in it, this cargo net is designed to still basically be cranked down in between whatever anchors you have in your truck bed (usually 4 or 6 anchors), and still feel and look like a truck cover net, even if you don’t have anything in the back of your truck.
What a brilliant design~! I actually mounted one of these nets in my truck with a bunch of cargo in my truck bed and I couldn’t believe how easy it was to crank down…it was a bunch of loose cargo that was cranked down tight and safe within seconds given Bednet’s superior design of the straps…it’s hard to explain, but you just fasten each hook of each corner and pull tight and it really grabs great.
The measurements that we given you here on our site are max sizes including straps, etc…it’s basically a smaller net that fits your bed perfectly, even if you’re not hauling any load at all.
